Has anyone seen this movie? Holy hell, it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen.....so beautiful. I loved the way Ofelia is portrayed as being so innocent and the ending is soooooooo sad!

That lullaby is haunting.

Ive only seen it once and i was trashed off my face but i must say from what I remember, it was pretty brutal.

yeah, there's a lot of violence; however, is necessary for the plot-line.

yeah thats true. i just hated the bit where that son and father actually only had a rabbit in their bag and he just killed them? or just the father? i cant remember. it was so sad.

yeah, they were rabbit hunters and he killed them for not good reason - brutally too.

Hrm.. That's just possibly less scarier then my oldest sister.. It also reminds me of Disturbia with Rihanna's creepy fingernails..

anyway, When looking at this thread I thought of labyrinth with David Bowie (which ultimately scared the fucking shit out of me as an 8 year old in primary school and I was made to sit there halfway through the movie and apparently watch it..)

But I haven't actually seen this movie but will look into maybe one day actually renting it.

anyway, quite a good movie. shame it was in sub-titles though.. but for it to still be very good with sub-titles is a pretty good achievement.
